AFE CAI A+ Customer Service !

I have to tell you people this site is great ,Received much info here.But after hearing all the stories about Cold Air Intakes ,Quality, Fit & Finish I decieded to order AFE. Well when i received it the barb fitting was wrong ,the lid didnt sit right on top ,box had a space of about 3/4" from air inlet.Anyway with that said i thought wait for $400. dollars this has to fit better than this . So i called AFE and spoke with quality control department. 10 minutes later a manager called me back apoligizing,that Q&A should always pre-fit before it leaves the plant . So he said he would personally check the kit that leaves to me .I now have a perfectly fitting kit that looks and fits great ...And he also told me how to modify factory air inlet on fender to fit the AFE box and now no space .Like a Glove ..(You see what a 10 minute phone call can due rather than complaining about it.)

Mistakes happen, but in terms of customer service, the thing people remember is how the mistakes are dealt with.

A learning organization would modify their assembly instructions so that everyone can do this and without having to call the organization to ask. A learning organization would also instill the quality into their kit without having to reship another. My 2 cents.
