Default Warning! Do Not Order From 4wheelonline

I thought i was getting a good deal by ordering from this company. They were around $300 less than everyone else. Long story short, i take my truck and lift over to the shop Wed. night to have it installed Thur. morning. I only opened 2 out of the 6 boxes to make sure it looked ok. To many parts for me to wrap my head around and i didn't know what to look for. So they call me and tell me they are missing a bunch of parts. They are missing the rear lift blocks, bump stop reinforcement brackets, rear cross member, bracket hardware, compression struts, and several key nuts and bolts. This is very annoying. So i call 4wheelonline and they say its not their fault and i have to call Pro-comp and speak to Nick. I call over there and explain my situation and he says thats impossible. He said that all the boxes are weighed before they leave to prevent this from occuring. He asked if any of the boxes were damaged or had clear tape on them and i said yes. They all had clear tape on them and he said then 4wheelonline must have opened them because Pro-Comp uses only straps and white masking tape. So he has tried contacting 4wheelonline and they are blowing him off and so now i have to get the tracking numbers off of all the boxes and give them to Pro-Comp so they can file a claim. He said this has happened before, if they need parts for another kit they will just open them and take them. He said they are one of the worst customers they deal with as far as service goes and reliabilty. This is just a warning to everyone else..spend a little extra on the lift so you don't have to go through this BS. I feel bad for the place that is putting on my lift because now they have one lift that they cant use at all because my truck is on it in pieces.

well. that's not good. maybe 4wheel got the boxes mixed up. sometimes big warehouses rob other boxes for parts that were missing or damaged in a previous delivery. It may be that they never labeled the robbed box as missing parts and someone mistakenly shipped it out.

Why can't you just return the whole thing and get a new one shipped out? I've had to return or replace nearly 33% of everything I order online because of missing, damaged, or just plain wrong merchandise was in the box I received.

Try them again Monday, or Saturday if they're open. I'm sure a big company like 4WP can make it right. You need to get someone on the phone with some signing authority.

I'm sure they will handle the problem, but that doesn't help much while his truck is tying up someones rack, or the installer temporally reinstalled enough old parts to get the truck off the rack and pushed into a corner or out the back door, which increases chances of damage or theft, not to mention the installer is probably now not going to make any profit, which in turn leaves them highly unmotivated..................

I have called several times and keep getting different people. Pro-Comp said they have this sort of problem with 4 wheel online often. I read on here about someone paying for 4 wheels and they only shipped 3 and they gave him a hard time. They are very rude on the phone and they keep telling me its not their fault.

Didn't read these posts till after my order was made. The complete order came in within about seven days. Cheapest prices I could find on what I bought. No problems and one satisfied customer. Ordering online is nerve racking when a small fortune is at stake and if they screw you over it's gona be hard to get even(What punch your computer screen they wont even care), but the savings are big. Local shops quoted outragous prices so rolling the dice with these online business's is where it's at.
