I had both magnaflow and flowmaster. Flowmaster has more of a drone sound at low rpm. Magnaflow has more of a crackle sound.Check out my videos of the flowmaster exhaust. Its dual in dual out. The cats are still there. No Y or X pipe. Flowmaster was just a little bit cheaper. Either one muffler system you choose your getting a quality setup. How much is your local muffler shop charging you. Mine was $325 javens muffler shop in Newell WV. I personally prefer magnaflow because it was louder than flowmaster. Both exhuast systems were dual in dual out.

Magnaflow. I put on a direct replacement and love it.

I installed a Flowmaster, then drove 400,000 miles.
Yeh, it sounded manly and hunky at idle, and everybody knew when I came or left the neighborhood.
I will stick with stock before going through the interior noise again.
Did it do what I bought it to do? Yes.
I did, in fact get 1 MPG improvement. Problem is I could never legally drive that fast.
