I keep hearing a lot of good stuff about these tire. Interco is the company that makes the Super Swamper line of tire. The 'swampers' are mainly for offroading. So interco recently came out with the TrXus which is made for onraod driving during the week and offraod excursions on the weekend. It also keeps the same aggressive tread pattern. Has anybody use these before or know anything about them. I hear nothing but good and there 50 bucks a tire less than BFG MT. Im waiting on the mickey thompson beadlock classics to come out and need a good mud tir to go with em.
I haven't heard of anyone having problems with the TrXus. Its a really good tire, but it doesn't have the same tread as all the other swampers. The tread is pretty much like any other M/T tire out there. Another good thing about them is they come siped from the factory so they should be able to last a good while.

I'm in the same boat, except I have a set of BFG AT's on my truck w/ more than half tread left, and another set of BFG AT's setting in my garage with about half tread left. Anybody wanna buy a set, OR TWO, of BFG AT's???
Before you buy the Trxus Tires, take a look at the Buckshot Maxxis Mudders. I have them currently and have been very impressed. The tread pattern is about the same, and they are also siped from the factory. Noise is very good for a mud tire and the ride is great as well. I think I payed right over $100 for each one, in a 285/75/16 size. Great Tire for the money.

Maybe you should enter a burnout contest, that way you can wear out your tires, and if you win you can get some $$$ for new tires.
I heard that the Buckshot tires didnt throw mud off the tires very well and therefore lost traction. The TrXus tires are only 20 bucks more anyways and they have that tread that goes all the way down the side. Anybody know where to get cheap, good looking wheels?

American Racing Black Rock Crawler Wagon Wheels... About as cheap as you can get for a decent wheel...
At National Tire and Wheel I found 16x8 Polished aluminum tailgunner wheels for 70 bucks, brand new. They look just like the weld scorpios, just not quite as shiny. Does American Racing make good quality tires?
- In case your wondering, my plan for my truck is 2 1/2 cornfed spacer in the front, rear AAl in back, 16x8 American Racing tailgunners, and of course 285/70/17 TrXus M/T

Sounds alot like my plan. TOMORROW, I'm getting the Daystar 2 1/2" Coil Spacer and Rear AAL to go with my 16X8 Rock Crawler Street Locks ( http://www.4wheelonline.com/streetlocks.html )and 285/75 R16 Interco TrXus MT's.
And, by the way, here's a great article from a guy who got 31,400 miles out of his TrXus MT's. He added to the article every so often throughout the life of the tires: http://www.gis.net/~zacharer/jeep/re...xusreview.html
nice pics amocat. How do your tires handle on/offroad. Where'd u get em from and what was the price. Do you have any pics of the whole truck with new set up on it. Thanks

They handle pretty well on pavement. But, I can tell a difference from the BFG AT's, of course. They have a hummm to them, but my music always covers that anyway. Went away for the weekend, so I haven't had them off road yet. Hopefully this week/weekend. I got them from my local off-road and audio place, in Lewistown, PA. They were $134.00 each. Also, didn't get the lift installed yet b/c Daystar sent a Tacoma lift by accident. It's now going in for the lift tomorrow. I'll have pics posted by Wednesday. Thanks.
