Default Ground Wire Kits

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions on the use/utility of one of these?

Here's an example.

I don't like the fact that it's red. Now before you complain that it's just aesthetics, generally you want to color-code your wiring setups, and more specifically ground or - lines are generally black, or occasionally white, or bare wire. Red is usually used to indicate a +, or hot lead. Cross coloring can lead to bad mistakes later on.

As for its functionality, I dunno. I've heard that the thin line currently used by the Tundra is marginal, and that a larger line could help, but I haven't seen anything that says it's a major fix.

"Ricers" claim they give more horsepower, by cleaning up the power and giving a more powerful spark. Unless your wires are old or worn don't bother. All show and no go.

Now, stereo enthusiasts swear by them, so if you have a high powered system it may be useful. I hate it when they have spelling errors in the main title: "UNIVERSAL GROUND WIRE KID RED" ...I think he means KIT
