Default Installing readylift. Do I need a diff drop?

I'm having a Readylift Leveling kit installed on my 2008 Tundra Double Cab SR5 TRD 4x4. Do I need a diff. drop kit installed also? Also, what size tires should I run with the stock 18" wheels? Thanks!

Default Re: Installing readylift. Do I need a diff drop?

the diff drop is not necessary, but it can be used if you would like. i put it in with mine. it was cheep and easy to install. i did it as sort of a "sense of mind" sort of thing. after all, it really cant hurt anything (that i know of).

33'' tall tires seem to look good with this lift. width depends on what you are looking for. i have 33x12.5s, and it looks aggressive and mean. the tires stick out of the wheel wells a little ways. i like the look. some people dont. its all up to you.

ALWAYS install the Diff Drop. It's cheap insurance.
