These steps just became available for Tundras (and Tacomas and FJ's). If you are looking for something different, take a look at these. They are all aluminum (no rust). I can tell you that the mounting brackets are VERY heavy duty, I was impressed when I saw them. Note that the pvc stripe is interchangable, comes in a few colors or can be painted to match your truck. I can also tell you that the prices have come down from their original prices but they are still expensive. Call your local dealer, they can probably beat the online price. These steps are pretty darn good looking in person.
how much are they? i can see em but my gov't computer is blocking the checkout process. And why would they sell the mounting kit seperately? Tell me why

Nevermind i found the price and it's rediculous, it looks like their charging 500 per side and 200 per mounting bracket. I sent them an email letting them know how i felt.

Yes, they are expensive. And guess what, they actually LOWERED their prices, they used to be more.
They are made of a one-piece milled aluminum, which I'm sure raises the price but makes them very sturdy. I can tell you that the mounting brackets are the most heavy duty I've seen of ANY other steps.
Well i guess if I or any member of my immediate family becomes morbidly obese then these are the running boards I'll go with. Until then it just doesnt seem like a sound investment.

There is a manufacturer to dealer price drop for the month of March. If interested (and if the dealer passes along the price drop), you can sure save some bucks.
Dealer discount or not, cost of materials or not, 550 per side plus 220 per mounting bracket? Absolutely ridiculous. Imagine all the other mods I can get with that kind of money.
Future Mods:
-Back up camera, 3/1 Lift/level from Low Range, Color matched door handles, Spray in bed-liner,TRD Sway Bar, TRD or equivalent CAI, TRD or equivalent exhaust
