Scangauge X-Gauge Codes For Tundra

For the last few weeks I have been working with James DeLong of Linear Logic on some new X-Gauge codes for the Tundra. I have been doing the testing for him, and we have had some success with them. James has given me permission to share the codes with the forum. The new codes we have are for Air/Fuel Ratio, Barometric Pressure, and Altitude. They should work on 05 and up Tundras. If there is any interest, I will post them here. James is working on some others, and he will be monitoring this forum so if there is anything you would like to see displayed in X-Gauge, post it here. He might also post some codes that are in development and ask for your feedback.

all i want is a tranny temp....i had to make sure to put temp in there or this post could have took a really bad turn.

That is one of the ones they are working on. I tested some this week but no luck. I think they might crack that one soon.

So that same codes will work for the later model 1st Gens and the 2nd Gens?

Outstanding, I'm happy to see they are keeping up on the tech for the product.

Could you ask them to add to the trip gauges? I've asked for a gauge to show MAX-Horsepower such as the MAX-F-Water Temp. But they never replied to me. So if you were to go on the trip meter and scroll through, you could see what your max HP was for the current/day/tank.

Thanks they worked on my 05 where did you get them from?Do you have anymore codes for these trucks?

I don't have any others that work now, but I am testing codes for Linear
Logic and I expect to have more that work soon. I will post them when they are available. Keep checking back.

Thanks for the new codes! But, I did the altitude x-gauge and it shows a number of -261 which is almost the altitude of Death Valley. I'm in Sacramento (around 30 feet above sea level). I double checked the numbers I entered. Any idea why it could be so far off?

It's only going to be a rough calculation of your current altitude since it doesn't take into account what the temperature is and reports in steps of 274 feet.

Response from James:

Adding a trip gauge to report max horsepower is an idea we have considered. Originally since horsepower was an XGauge that was added later by the user, it didn't have a dedicated slot within the trip information to be reported. However we may be able to add a user definable trip gauge for XGauges to record Max values, Averages, etc.

We have not really begun work on such a feature yet, so it's somewhat speculation at this point. However it's a feature we've seen requested quite a few times and it's definatly on the list of things we'd like to do to improve the ScanGauge.

HI TONYSPIN,

I'm an Aussie member of the forum and I've been looking for these codes for ages - I have an 09 Landcruiser twin turbo diesel 4.5L and the codes work fine!!!!

The other suggestions are great but like an earlier post I too am really intersted in transmission temp because I do a reasonable amount of towing and have a power chip fitted - so I'd like to monitor how hard the box is working.

Anyway - keep up the GOOD WORK - it is really appreciated.
