what does the powertrain certified warranty cover, that the platinum certifed doesnt? im wondering if i got suckered into paying extra for a non needed platinum warranty, when i already got the powertrain warranty?
Quite a bit of difference. Really depends on the price you paid. Some states don't allow the dealers to profit from the sale of warranties, gap insurance, etc.. such as Florida. Some states allow the dealers to make all the profit they want on all aspects of the sale (GA). You may have paid dealer cost, or more, but the platinum warranty covers just about the entire vehicle.
