Wow... looks just like my exhaust pipes between the cat and muffler that I painted black using high temp spray paint. Are you sure they used powder coat?
Is the tip tack welded? I'm trying to find the weld from the first 2 pics but only see the bolt on top. Maybe the shop you brought it to welded the adapter but not the tip.
If you're going for a black theme, go a step further and stealth the pipes by adding turndowns after the muffler.

Yeah, thinking about turndowns at this point. They tack welded on the side between the tire and tip so that you can't see it.
BTW-671, thanks for the info on your rims, got some Eagles myself.

The turndowns are sick! I have them and actually think they made the noise in the cab a little quieter. I don't know how they sound from the outside (I'll have my wife rev it up while I stand outside) but I like it's not as deafening as when I had 8" short pipes after the muffler.
And no prob... hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I love the stance that the Eagles give my truck and enjoy hugging turns without worrying about tipping over.

Here's what I think some of you are missing in this thing; I'm not necessarily complaining about the customer service. I was trying to keep everything short, but let's see if I can clear this up a little more.
They offered to make a new tip for me (at least 2 weeks out), so instead of that I suggested a refund for the tip I already purchased. My rationale was since I'm not comfortable with your product, use the money to manufacture a new tip and save on shipping and handling cost by refunding or even a partial refund on the tip I already purchased.
I thought that was reasonable...

I don't think anyone missed your point in that you wanted a refund rather than a replacement, and they offered it to you. What we don't understand is that you are still upset that they offered you the refund that you asked for, and you still aren't happy because you can't keep what you have rather than just sending them the photos that they requested.
