Default SG II Fillup problems

So today I went to fill up the tundra and had my gf try to input the numbers into the fillup program. When it came to gallons, she couldn't change the value of how many gallons we filled up either way. Though she can change the price of gas no problem.

When I took a look at the SG on the gallons screen, the value cranked up to 3xx something gallons and the percentage value underneath was up in the 3k value???

I tried unplugging it, but that didn't work. If any of you have any experience with this issue and could lend some advice that would help. I figure check this out before I go ahead and reset to default. I am just lazy to re-enter the x gauge commands

Default Re: SG II Fillup problems

I am not sure of what you are getting at, but i have been watching my average fuel and how many miles left. No according to the manual it states that we have a 26 gallon tank. When i get down to where it is showing that i have 11 miles left. I stopped to fill up and it stopped at 19 gallons, 7 gallons short of what you would think it would take to get close to fill up.
I did the enevitable and sit there and pumped in two more gallons to bring it up to 21 gallons total that i could get into the tank with 11 miles left on the fuel consumption computer that came with the truck. Any ideas??? I know people say just take it out when it shuts off, fuel gets in the evaporator and is lost. Is this true? So far every tank on fill up acts the same way. I got down to 6 miles left on tank and it cut off at 20gallons. Thanks for any ideas you can throw my way..
