Default What would you do to your truck if money was no object?

Sliders?
Bumpers?
coil overs?
bed bars?
long travel?
solid axle swap?
tires and wheels?

Default that's a long list!

to that question add "...and not a daily driver", cuz if i could, i'd somehow get portalled axles underneath.

anyway, realistically, a true high pinion ford 9" front and rear, full float, discs, gmc d60 kingpin outers in front, double shear uniballed leaves in the rear so i can keep load capacity, coil sprung front for flex...

...finish boxing the frame, add another crossmember where the stubs are toward the front (you'll see what i mean...) to brace the frame, skid plates rail to rail, countersunk bolts on the bottom, or protect the bolts by wrapping the plates and putting the bolts in the side, wheel to wheel sliders braced to the frame where possible and appropriate (linked near/outside crossmembers), skid plate equipped high clearance rear bumper (same as joe's, actually), similar front bumper with a 10k or 12k winch and synth line.

snorkel. dual batteries mounted in center of rear seat, right side of the seat trimmed to match the left, okole covers to keep the crap off ( i've already measured, this will work).

shock hoop in the rear, a-framed shocks. bed utility carrier secured to the rearward four bed bolts, for a spare tire, a couple jerry cans, hi lift & chain, bridging ladders, shovel, ax. rack with a few lights for the top of the can-bak. undercarriage lights. cab halo for some low-prof lights and things like cell and cb antennae.

internal roll cage...compatible with a sunroof . speedglass windshield. doors that dont rattle when theyre rolled down. tcase brace. 2nd tcase.

strategically applied line-x. hole and scoop in hood linked to airbox turned sideways, closeable for water crossings.

beadlocks and 37" krawlers for the trail, 37" a/t and no locks for the road.

some of that is currently and cheaply attainable...the rest, some aftermarket support would be great...a few of those things are already on order .

I'd go with Long travel up front, fox shocks all the way around. Rear shocks would be hooped into the bed. The frame and bed would be reinforced. Supercharger w/ blueprinted engine, ported polished and gone through. 37" baja TA's mounted on beadlocks. ARB locker in my one and only diff. Custom fabbed Front and rear bumpers, with winch on front. Fender flares and Roll Cage.

Just to start.

All I'd want is a new paint job with something that doesn't chip so bad. Pretty simple want huh? Other than that I'm happy with what I have.

If a combo of all these whizz bangs met their claims you'd have to siphon gas out of your tank every second day and sell the excess horsepower on the third????
If your engine doesn't consume ANY oil it will seize???

Shorten the frame in the rear, move the rear axle forward about 12", bob the bed, full exo skelton(bumper to bumper), volvo portal axles f/r, sway away dual rate coilovers at all four corners, marlin crawler, beadlock rims with some 37"+ BFG krawlers, send engine to TRD to have whatever modifications they can do for max power and low end torque, fuel cell, high output alternator to power dual batteries for winches in the back and rear, underhood air compressor, ready welder and whatever electronics I need. For now, that's what I can think of.

I'd find a way to make my truck do a back-flip. No one would even dare to think of such an awesome feat. *PATENT PENDING*

Oh, maybe a winshield that was rock-chip-resistant too.

If money was no object, first id buy a house to park it in.

Next, id make my own 4130 uniballed arms upper and lower 5-7" wider per side, with upgraded spindles, dual rate coilovers, bypasses and air bumps up front. Id make my own engine cage to mount all that plus the glass, radiator, condensor AT cooler lights and so on. Then id gusset up the rear, put in lower gears and locker, 35s, link the back end, cage it up with nice seats, coilovers and bypasses and air bumps on the back end. I make my own bumpers as well.

Once every last detail is setout and it is complete, id need a double cab Tundra with a blower to pull it on my new trailer!!!!!!! Thats approaching GVWR though so i may have to lower my self esteem and buy a GM 2500 with a duramax(I hate Chevy but id take that over a Powerstroke or Cummins).

Turn it into a trophy truck. Center mounted front a-arms and center mount independent rear suspension with all the other TT stuff. Basically like Ironman Stewart's beast but with carpet, almost stock interior, no paint scheme, stock looking, and more DDable.
