Default Adding a AEM intake to a Flowmaster dual..

Kinda new to this site, but as I have already read adding a dual exhaust to a 4.7L will kill the low end torque, sorry to say I didn't realize that until after I got a 40 series flowmaster installed and drove away wondering where my power vanished to. I was thinking of adding a AEM intake to compensate for the loss of low end. Any advice on what to do to increase low end besides putting my stock muffler and single exhaust back on? I have read that installing the JBA's will increase low end dramatically, but will it all be lost if I still have duals on? If I re-install my stock exhaust, what sort of power gains will I gain from an AEM intake? Thanks

I pesonally would go with the Magnaflow exhaust and True Flow intake. You'll absolutely be satisfied with this combo...any exhaust would be fine. But I highly recommend the True Flow intake...it works the best!!!

Stick with your stock intake. Go back to your stocking exhaust piping and replace the muffler. As you said JBA's are great but, there's also S&S long tube headers.

Another option is to regear to gain some power to the wheels.

Duals would be OK with 2" tubing and an x-pipe crossover. They'd just be a waste of money.

I agree...stock intake & filter, and stock pipe with your choice of 2-1/2" muffler.
