Ooops.

I was reading the archives and just realized I bumped a 3.5 year old thread, hehe

Any programmers out there yet???

I'd like to find a programmer as well. I had an Edge programmer on my Expedition that was pretty nice. It allowed for all kinds of custom parameter tweeking....also allowed custom shift points and allowed speedo correction when running larger than stock tires....

I e-mailed the folks at Edge Tech asking that they make programmers for Toyotas, specifically the 4.7L in my Sequoia....maybe if they receive more e-mails they will make it.

I would love it if they made one for my Toyota

No programmers, but you can get a Uni-Chip.

URD has a mass airflow, fuel, and timing calibrator. Supposed to "unleash hidden power". Seems to be getting pretty good reviews. $569.00 better get good reviews!!

On the manufactures web site, the "URD calibrator" is only for the following (I don't see a V8): Applications: 5VZ-FE 3.4L V6, 1MZ-FE 3.0L V6, 2RZ-FE 2.4L I4, 3RZ-FE 2.7L I4. From the writing, is appears to be designed for boosted versions of the V6.

The Uni-Chip site mentioned this: "Unichip is a universal tuning solution with which a tuner can control timing, fueling, and (if applicable) boost on virtually any vehicle with an ECU upon which to piggyback"

You might be right. I didn't look that far into it. Sorry...
