Hey guys! This is my first post. I am planning on getting a Line X liner for my Tundra. I was wondering if it is worth paying the extra $125 for the UV coat? I heard it protects the liner from fading. The total cost for the liner with the coating is $570 for under the rail. Does that sound right?
Price sounds right. I think I paid 450.00 without the UV. Contact member
123gone. I believe he is a Line X dealer, and a wealth of knowledge on this subject.

Stoked on my Tundra!!!
Yes, I did the UV protectant. It was $450ish out the door. The guy told me to come back ever 2 years or so to get a new coat of the UV protectant.
I saw your location... I'm from Ridgecrest too! Infact I just drove back from Ridgecrest last night. I think it's too cool when people know where Ridgecrest is, let alone been there or live there! lol.

I went with Rhino instead of Line X. I used Line X before and did not like it. I heard there a lot of great things over Rhino vs Line X so I decided to go with Rhino. I have no complaints thus far.

Every one I have talked to prefers Line X. What do you think is better about Rhino?

My future father in law has Rhino, I have line-x. He is in the process of building flat head engines and has to put a piece of plywood down over his Rhino so the blocks don't cut the lining.
Rhino is more sticky than Line-X. So things will slide around less. But it isn't as durable as the Line-X. I prefer the look of the Line-ex. At times the Rhino looks like somebody sneezed in the back of the truck with a mouth full of cottage cheese.
I was also told the Rhino fades more over time. For me, have a black truck, I want the liner to stay as black as possible. My father in law has a cab on his truck, so he didn't have to worry about that.

lol! No thanks! I have heard of Rhino chipping off pretty easy & thats something I do not want to deal with. I have only heard good things about line X. Do you know anyone that has had their truck sprayed here in town? Nelson's Automotive is the only people that do it in RC.
