2005+ Tacoma Ladder Rack (Boat, bike, utility BED RACK for bed rails) ? Who ? Where ?

Whats up-

I have been searching for DAYS for a ladder rack for my 2005 taco.



The only thing I have come across is :

1- The Rack Warehouse - Thule Xsporter Adapter Kit for 2005 Tacoma (Thule xsporter 421 and 422. I have no idea what the difference is.)

2- WorkTrucksUSA.com U. S. Rack Utility Ladder Rack for Toyota Tacoma with Toyota Bed Rail System (2005-2007) - Worktrucks USA

Both of these look to suck.
There are no local dealers, and the dealers I have called can not get the XSporter system.


I also checked LEER and they have an el-cheap-o much like the above worktrucksUSA that must be slightly modified to fit.

I dont care about modification and fabrication, I can do all that, I just need a good looking rack that will fit with the tacoma bed rail system,


Any ideas ?

here's my ladder rack for my Tundra...my fellow co-worker has the same one but for his Tacoma...

That looks ''tuff'' ...

Looks better than the USRacks and THULE XSporter -
I made a custom rack for my S10, my co-workers have custom on-of's too, but I want to get something aftermarket that looks like part of the truck for my Taco.

I like the look of your rack, does it have a back half ?

Where did you get it ?

ACTUALLY, MY WORK PAID FOR IT SINCE WE ALSO DO ROOF FINALS...PRETTY MUCH IT'S A 24' FOOT LADDER AND THE BACK END HANGS OFF THE TAILGATE ABOUT 2'...I LIKE THIS RACK BETTER THAN WHAT THEY USE TO HAVE...I WAS SENT TO A COMPANY CALLED LEER WHO DID THE INSTALLATION...AS FAR AS HOW MUCH IT COST, DUNNO?? I THINK THE RACK BLENDS IN WELL ESPECIALLY WITH THE BLACK TOOL BOX I HAVE WITH IT...MAKES THE TRUCK LOOK LIKE A TONKA TRUCK!

Yeah I checked LEER out here, the only model they have that ''they say they can make fit'' is the cheapy' triangle beam thing, that looks like the USRack above link...



I dunno, I might just build one out of 2x4's ... lol, just kidding.
