anyone with a 05-06 with aftermarket radio

i was wondering of anyone on here with a 05-06 tundra ac has a aftermarket radio/in dash dvd player. did you have to run the wiring from the amp in the back to the radio? i've searched the internet for any kind of wiring harnesses for my truck and can't find one. any help would help.

I've got an alpine but don't have a factory amp.I think they make an adapter not sure.

There are adapters available, but most people simply go with an aftermarket amp as well. The adapters are not cheap and even moderately priced aftermarket amps will produce far superior sound.
I installed an Alpine amp under the driver's seat in my '06 AC and it's terrific!

do you know where i can find the adaptor? i am planning on installing a sub and amp but i want to find out what i need to do with the factory amp and wiring befor i get involved with it.

Most of us just remove the factory amp and don't worry about using an adapter. The cost of the adapter can go a long way towards the purchase of your aftermarket amp. IMO, you would just be complicating things.
I believe that you will get as much power (probably more) out of a decent aftermarket head unit alone as you do out of your oem head unit and oem amp together! Obviously, when you add an aftermarket amp, you will really start noticing a big difference.
