Who's had volume knob problems

Randomly, my volume knob will not function. Every other feature of the radio will work except adjusting the volume. I have the standard radio and speaker system. This will occur then a few hours later, it will work again. Has anyone had this problem? What do you think I should ask of the dealer other than put a new one in?

I've had that happen. I turned off the truck, removed the key, then put the key in and turned it to ACC. It worked after that.

The wife is telling me, though, that the radio is freaking out...she said it got really loud, then turned off and displayed "L" on the screen. I have yet to verify, but it'll have to go to the dealer and get a new radio.

My dealer called yesterday, my new radio came in, I just have to figure out when to take it in.

yeah, not only isn't my volume not work, my whole radio does not work or ummm i should say works when it wants to, and when it does its very tempermental. only certain features will work, like, only one radio station or only one CD will work. I have my appointment first thing Monday morning. i'll post results

I had my replacement done a few weeks ago...no problems to report I think it was just some faulty radios. I, too, have the regular audio system.
