Has anyone done this with their JBL system? Can you replace the stock subwoofer with something with a little more punch in the stock enclosure?

I'd just like a little input before I start filling my cart at Crutchfield...

Thanks
Back to the original question, I would look at Focals, Morels and Rainbows. Although Rainbows and Morels can be quite expensive, they are sick speakers. Focals are up there as well with a more reasonable price. I think ebay sells a enclosure for a relatively low price for our trucks too if you want a nice 10" or 8" sub, I would go with JL.

8" mounting depth has got to take away a lot of leg room.
I gave up 2" which was nothing since my kids are grown and gone.
