the kenwood has had hdd nav for some time now. and its a garmin nav. which is top notch. i am extremely happy with my kenwood. like you said, ipod function is awesome with it.

i havent had a chance to play with my pioneer Z2 yet. but i have seen the D3 in friends vehicles. and it is a good unit. for the price, nothing can beat the pioneer units. right now you have to pay almost triple, to get a comparable eclipse unit. and they still havent figured out how to make ipod work with it.
