Could you guys post some shots of the camera angled down? I'd like to get a good idea of the field of view when looking down. I am leaning towards this camera right now over the stock camera. The screenshots would help me seal the deal.

Thanks...whenever you get time...trying to decide between factory and boyo cam. If the boyo cam has a good view I'm in! Any worries of it being stolen? I suppose you could put some kind of security screw to hold it in place...
It comes with hex head bolts that are locked in place in the frame when installed, you have to unscrew the nuts off the back. There is not a lot of room there with the spare tire so it took about a half hour+ with a small wrench to install the 4 bolts. If someone wanted to steal it they would have to take the 4 bolts/nuts off from behind and it would take them a good while.

good choice! I think you'll really like it; good luck!
I'm sure it will be awesome...I picked up a DNX8120 so I needed to cut the budget on the camera...couldn't afford the stock one after spending so much on the head unit. But from what you are saying the Boyo may be better than the stock...
I'm thinking about adding a sub to my DC sr5 as well...It looks like you mounted yours under the drivers side rear seat. I have under seat storage in my truck so couldn't mount the sub there unless I remove it or somehow build it into the storage. You didn't have the underseat storage did you?
I'm looking at speakers now too, and am trying to decide between the Polk DB's like yours, or the Pioneer TS-1720C or Phoenix Gold RSd's. Just wondering how these DB's are working out for you?
How much power are you sending each of them, and how do they sound? Rich and full, warm, thin, bright, etc?
Also, any reason you decided not to use the matching Polk DB sub?

I think you'll love that Boyo, it's a great camera. Used it for the first time this weekend hooking up a trailer since I angled it down. PERFECT! No I didn't have the underseat storage, so I guess you'd probably have to remove it to install the sub. I wouldn't recommend building it into the storage b/c you might have some rattle issues with the plastic...but like I said I didn't have it so others may chime in with how they did theirs.

Thanks for any info.
I'm loving the DB's. When I first installed them I set the crossover to 0 but after a few days decided that because they were so close to my head set in the sail panels, they were a bit too bright. I set the crossover to -3db attenuation and now they're perfect! The sound is insanely rich, it's amazing how much clearer the components can get over my rear coaxials. I have an Alpine 75x4 channel amp bridged to 100x2 RMS (the max power handling for the Polks) and the sound is very clear, even when extremely loud. I actually installed the sub first before I made up my mind on speaker selection, but I probably would have still stuck with the Kicker. I don't listen to a whole lot of rap, mostly every variety of rock, so accuracy was more important to me than volume. The bass is incredibly tight and plenty loud for me (I have the gain set to halfway on my 300W amp). I hope this helps!
Definately does. So, the separates sound better than the coax? Maybe I should just consider 2 sets of separates.
Anyway, I'm sort of down to the Polk DB's, the Pioneer TS-D1720C and Phoenix Gold RS'd speakers, and on subs I don't know what to do...........
Maybe matching brand sub, or maybe something different.

I'd definitely look at two pairs of separates if you plan on having a lot of back seat passengers. I know a lot of people don't even bother with replacing the rears because they're "just for fill", but I've ridden in the back seat of my truck and once you add a sub under the seat and factor in the low placement of the speakers in the rear doors (I have a DC), and the bass tends to dominate...not nearly as crisp as up front. I chose the polks b/c I've good experience with their doors speakers in the past and I feel they offer a good mix of power and clarity for the money, but your list looks good, so I think whatever you choose you'll be happy.
If I were doing a basic music system, I wouldn't bother with rear's either. I'm thinking of doing a 5.1 system though, which means rear and center are just as important. The DDX-812 supports 5.1 with rear and center output, so why not. You can then enjoy movies that way, as well as processing for regular music if you like.
Otherwise, I might as well just drop back to a less expensive headunit.

I agree. I'm a big advocate that rears are important to any system. Make sure you get a good center channel speaker in addition to the rears if you're doing a 5.1 b/c that's where the majority of your sound up front will be coming from while watching movies.
