This is a genius! Has anyone else built a box like this? Anyone have geometry and dimensions for the angle in the back?

really good write up and diy attitude. you should be proud of what you did. with trucks, especially if you want it hidden, there's always the limited space issue but you made the most of it. that speaker is no junker either, there's always something better but that applies to everything in life. I've never had a bad exp with fosgate subs. they've been around so long.

This is what I've got cookin right now:



It's a similar designed box but will only take up the center section of the driver side seat at 9.5" wide; I made a template to check clearance and it fits great! This gives me the .35 cu. ft. volume I need for the Image Dynamics ID8V.3 which is supposed to rival many 10's for output. I'm not into really boomy bass but I like a good punch in my rock music.

I'll be powering it with this baby:


It's my vintage Precision Power PC2300.
