Ive considered it and that's what ill probly end up doing I was just looking for a easy fix. I might be interested in the 4 channel amp id pay shipping or meet up with ya ether way be chill by me.
Cool, keep me posted. My brother in law said he might want it, but he hasnt mentioned anything about it lately. Let me know when youre ready.... I'm in no rush.
Any particular reason your switching out the front components and amps? I was looking at purchasing the BA Pro60's and an alpine V series in the next couple weeks. Just wanting to know if you weren't happy with the combo?

No, not at all... I was happy with the setup, I just had a couple opportunities I couldnt pass up. I switched out my amps to JL's, I got a 3004/v2 and a 500/1v2. I originally wanted JL amps when I started this whole thing, but they were a little above my budget. 2 weeks ago I was in a shop of a JL dealer, he had three 300/4v2's that were brand new but taken out of the box for someone to buy. In the end the guy couldnt afford the 3 amps so they put them back in the box and they had to sell them as open box. I got the 300/4v2 brand new for $300 with a full JL 2 year warranty...... I couldnt let that slip thru my hands.
My Boston Pro 60's sounded really really good on my Alpine F550, but like most Boston's, the highs were just a tad too bright for me. The mid bass was right on target and overall they sounded amazing, just a bit too bright but some people like that. The Pro 60 is an awesome component set, I highly recommend them.
I replaced my Boston Pro 60's with a set of 6.5" Rainbow Germaniums. The Germs have a silk tweeter (CAL 25) and they are supposed to be buttery smooth. I needed something a little warmer and accurate, the from all of the reviews I've read the Germs are supposed to be an amazing set of components. I'll be running them off my JL 300/4v2 and bridging them for 150w each. The rears are going to be running off the head unit.
If you have a chance at a V series amp I can attest they are great amps.
I will Buzz, you can count on that. It took me forever to find an authorized dealer here in the states. Even the dealers dont stock them on their shelves, they had to be ordered from Germany directly....... longest 2 weeks of my life. As soon as they are up and running I'll give a little review.
Awesome setup......A+ , I was looking to do something similar on my 08 Double Cab. Was wandering if you had the dimensions used for the MDF on the amp wall? And if you had any trouble with the back seats during the install, either sitting flush or the ability to access the amps for adjustment?

Sorry I took so long to get to this Josh. The amp rack is roughly 51 1/2" wide by 24 1/2" high. Just measure out the width from trim panel to trim panel and for height do the floor to the upper lip of the back wall.
I have no problems with the amps clearing the seat backs, they have plenty of room. When I put the new JL amps in I'll be building a cover panel to hide the wires and give it more of a professional look.
I did the back seat mod last year so I have total access to the amps for tuning.
Heres the clearance. Again, sorry I forgot to get this to you sooner.
Two minor questions popped up in my mind. I know to get the DVD to play while driving you just ground the parking break sensor. Can you just tap into any other ground wire (ie; the ground wire from the truck's stock harness?)
Also, do you have Navi control while driving? If so, did you have to do anything special?
Yes, just ground the parking wire at the radio harness in the dash. That one simple little hack will take care of both the DVD and nav functions while driving.
