Default Sirius SC-C1

I'm having issues with my Sirius PNR-2 - I get acquiring signal message often over the past few days. I have found that this issue is with the connection of the antenna into the unit is not the greatest. If I wiggle the connection my signal comes back.

With that said..... Crutchfield has told me that this item is discontinued and they will be sending me the more expensive Sirius SC-C1 with the appropriate Pioneer Bus adapter for an even exchange.

Does anyone have the SC-C1? Does it provide additional features or more lines of text on the HU screen? Any opinions on this product would be appreciated

I have the SC-C1 it works really well it depends what HU you have as to how much info you get, on my JBL I get abbreviated station name then push the TEXT button and get scrolling artist or song info.

no additional features - but I like this unit better since I was able to install this and the pioneer bus adapter behind my headunit without any issues

I also had a few issues with my old Sirius tuner on a Kenwood HU I had a couple years back. The antenna would go bad at the plug in point.

Now I have the SC-C1 and its perfect. I have the 8120 so I see all the info on my screen about the station that I'm on and the song and artist that is playing.
