Default Removing Tacoma center console

Hey All,

I'm looking to install some sound deadening in my 07 Tacoma this weekend and I was curious how exactly to remove the center console. I've pretty much have had the rest of the truck tacken apart, but haven't attempted the console. Looking for tips, pictures anything that will help.

Cheers,

Default Re: Removing Tacoma center console

i haven't fully removed the center console, but i did run a line-in to the console storage area. i'll try to remember what i did and look for photos. i know i had to loosen to loosen 2 bolts beneath the console storage carpet. that lifted the rear part of the console. from there i think it just snapped into the shifter area trim. i know the cupholder forward of the shifter just sits in there.

i'll be running an ipod cable when i get the part in so please detail what you discover.

here's what i have so far. might dive in for more detail this evening.
