Default 2000 tundra no power to amp

i finally was able to get my aftermarket stereo in and yes i had the factory amp. i have a 2000 tundra. now i am running into issues that my amp isn't getting any power. i have re-sanded my grounds and double checked all my wiring. am thinking i will have to pull the h/u out and hook up the power antenna to the p-cont wire that goes to the amp. any suggestions or ideas as to what else i could do? other than that all i can think of is maybe a bad amp?????

I presume you installed an after market amp. To troubleshoot I would:
check voltage at amp terminals
check voltage at remote terminal on amp with hu on

That should tell where the problem is.
