JBL Digital Turn on adapter

Hi,

I have the 6 disk JBL in my 4Runner, and I'm wanting to upgrade to an Eclipse Nav unit. I just want to replace the deck, and leave everything else in place, so when I decide to sell it, I can just swap the 6 disc back in, and be done with it.

but because I do have the JBL system, it has the digital turn on for the factory amp, so I always thought the only way to use an aftermarket deck is to bypass the amp.

It claims it will turn on the factory amp, using a aftermarket deck.

Has anyone here used this before? Does it work?

I was also wondering, of the latest Eclipse nav units. Which ones are plug/play with the factory steering wheel controls?
