Default JBL Bluetooth Speaker Upgrade

I have been searching for this answer with no luck. I am looking to install a set of focal 3ways in the front of my crewmax and 2ways in the back. My question is how do I hook up the system with the factory JBL setup and still maintain the bluetooth functionality?

I want to upgrade the speakers in all locations but don't want to loose any current features. i.e. bluetooth.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Default Re: JBL Bluetooth Speaker Upgrade

Replacing the speakers shouldn't affect your bluetooth functionality whatsoever. All you'll need to do is cut the speaker wire in front of the speaker adapter and strip the wire and either crimp or solder the wire to the terminals on your new speakers. Another option is to purchase your speakers from Crutchfield to get their installation kit which will give you a speaker adapter as well as a harness adapter to allow you to preserve your factory speaker harness.
