Question Aux In on stock `01 AM/FM/Cassette?

Hi,
I've got an `01 Tundra with the stock AM/FM/Cassette sterao. Looks to be about 1.5x the size of a normal radio. It has a narrow space ... about half-height above it, and a button on the face marked CD.

So, two questions...
1. Can you get a half-height CD player that plugs into this stock radio, as the button suggests? If so, where? I assume it'll be an arm and a leg

2. Is the connection from the CD player to the stock radio a standard Auxiliarry input kind of thing?

What I'm toying with is setting up an OGG server in the center console, but it'd be cool if I didn't have to come up with the coin for a new stereo at the same time

Ok, I did find some stuff on crutchfield thanks to another thread (read first ... then post ) Basically, an insanely priced half-height single CD player, and a sort of adaptor for the stock radio to a CD changer. The adaptor has RCA leads on it

Still not sure if just plugging a signal source into those leads and hitting the 'CD' button on the deck will get me anything though.

The adaptor you saw at Crutchfield had RCS inputs, you can plug any device with RCA output plugs into it and play, like a Delphi XM reciever, DVD player, laptop, MP3 player, portable CD player, etc. Also try http://www.pie.net/apguides.htm for more adaptors. I got one gor my girl's stock Accord radio to plug the Delphi XM radio into without using an FM modulator, which you could also use in your situation. You might also want to check www.xmfan.com for more info on adaptors. I know you aren't looking for XM, but the same technology applies to the inputs.

Perhaps the easiest and cheapest option would be to use a cassette adaptor that pops into the cassette deck and plugs into the OGG server via 1/8 inch plug.

Ok, thanks! Sounds like what I need.
I'm think that I might try reverse engineering the control cable also ... would be cool to control the OGG server via the buttons on the existing radio. Does anybody know if this radio display artist/album/track information from the external CD player?
