Wanna see something psycho?
I figured it was a catchy title.....
Since I bought the truck to customize in the first place, it's come time to begin prepping my black beauty for a high-powered stereo system. That means installing sound deadening.
If you know me, you know I don't do anything halfway. It's all or nothing. 2008 truck with 8k miles....
I'm using
Second Skin Audio's products for the all of my deadening needs. Here is just one of MANY boxes of
Damplifier Pro.
First thing to do is gut the interior of the truck with the exception of the dash.

Re: Wanna see something psycho?
See that ugly black crap on the back wall? That's Toyota's version of sound deadening. It's very foamy and doesn't stick well to the metal.
I decided it isn't up to par....say goodbye!
When I said remove the interior, that includes the headliner.....

Re: Wanna see something psycho?
You have a LOT more time on your hands than I do (and a bigger set also). Have to admit, the inside of that truck is going to be REAL quiet.

Re: Wanna see something psycho?
Well, people that know me say I like to do things the right way. I measure twice and cut once.
That is a damn good install of sound deadening material.

Go Gator's (again and again and again)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
