It's fairly new deck. I think maybe that's why you're getting limited responses. Try other review sites. Here's a link to Crutchfield's user reviews. Definitely take them with a grain of salt.

Re: Kenwood DDX514
I have last year's model DNX5120 (now DNX5140) and it is awesome. It looks like the Kenwood you are looking at has everything mine has minus the GPS NAV, so it should be a really nice unit. Thanks to the guys here it was an easy install as well.

Re: Kenwood DDX514
I have the DDX-512 which is the previous (and nearly identical) incarnation.
Mine installed with no problem and I'm very pleased with it.

No, I didn't upgrade my factory speakers. I am thinking about adding an amp, but I am happy right now. You will be very surprised and happy how much better the Kenwood stereo makes the factory speakers sound....just proves how much the stock Toyota stereo stinks!

Salty Dog - i just installed the ddx514. It's great, sounds much better than the stock radio. How did you connect the parking brake switch? Did you connect to the brake or just ground it? I'm getting conflicting answers.
Thanks

I connected it to the brake.
I'm at work right now, so don't ask me the wire colors.
