Question 2001 Seq. w/ JBL ipod connection?

I would like to connect an ipod to the factory 6 disc JBL headunit in a 2001 Sequoia. Im not interested in controling the ipod from the headunit. I found a link on this forum to one that connects to a CD input on the back of the headunit. I also ordered an Infinity Basslink powered sub . Does anyone have a suggestion to what kind of hardwired ipod connector to use and will the basslink also plug into the cd port?

I put a USA Spec adapter in my wife's car. She loves it, and you can control the ipod either thru the radio or the old fashioned way. Plugged right into the "aux" input on the back of the factory radio. Works great with our iPhones too. We listen to internet radio in the car..... its awesome.
