DVD System discontinued - Toyota Tundra Forums : Tundra Solutions Forum

I ordered an 09 Tundra last week with the 10.2" DVD system, iPod ready only to find out on Monday that Toyota has discontinued it. The dealership is now finding out if they can install the one for the 2010 Sequoia in it.

do it yourself and save about 1000.00 bucks. i ordered mine off ebay for 300 for the headrest and they didnt match so i had the recoved and slip covers made all for under 400.00 . bought them from Hong Kong got the in about 4 days and they have speakers built in or it will go witht radio or witht the wireless headphones that came with it. and for power i just use the cig plug in the back of console and it works when you turn the key off. but very easy to do and i like have two of them that way the kids can watch something different or the same thing.

Ya - that's what i've decided. The 10.2" Alpine roof mounted system is $1200 installed so that's what I'm going to do. Suprised that Toyota would discontinue something in the middle of the sale year.
