Sequoia VS Tundra radio system?

Hello all!!

I have an 04 Sequoia which my daughter decided to put in a disc with a glue on label that melted and now won’t eject. I tried to get it out…but no luck.
Anyway….people on here seem to be knowledgeable about Toyota systems so I had a few questions.
I purchased a radio from a Tundra 05 on ebay that I was told was compatible with my amp based on the following forum.

When I put it in, ( Model number 86120-0C140) (Face number A56830) everything worked, but the volume control wont work.
I called my local dealer to see if the radio was compatible with my existing amp and they acted like I wanted them to change my transmission for free and said they had no idea.
Does anyone know of a dealer that is helpful and can cross reference which radios are compatible with one another? Or better yet a chart that shows which radios will work with which amps in case I need to buy another radio?
I need to either send this back to the seller as defective or find another radio that will work.
My current working radio is an 86120-0c121 (faceplate A56835)
