I have a 2008 Tundra SR5 and the stereo went unexpectantly blank this afternoon and I cannot seem to get it back. Stereo is working properly with all selections available. I have checked the owner's manual and can't seem to find a solution. Your help to a newbie to the forum would be appreciated and I apologise in advance if this problem has previously addressed. Do a quick search on here for more info, but there is a well know problem with dying radios. The dealers are usually replacing them under warranty.

Thank you, Jumbo. I was unaware of a problems with Tundra radios. As I mentioned, the radio, etc., are all working but there is no display. Guess I will call the dealer tomorrow and see what they have to say!

Youre welcome Fred. I never had any issues with mine, but I know a lot of guys here have had problems with theirs not working..... very similar to your problem.

Good luck at the dealer, from what I've read they are aware of the problem and replacing the radios.
