What do you guys have installed in your Crewmax?

How many clicks did you lose on the back seat?

How much bass are you getting?

Pics?

I just installed 2 Digital Design 8"s and I am not happy at all... the 8"s kick *** but only at high volums and I lost 6 clicks on the back seat which SUCKS!! I am taking it out and want to get some ideas of what everyone else is doing.

I miss my dual 15" dd's !!... i have a double cab with 2 12 inch RE's .. so its under the back seat..

look up tech12volt.com, i got a box made from them and running 2 12" rf p3s. the sound is good.[IMG]

I have a custom box holding two 10" Elemental Designs (SQ10 shallow mounts). No pics, but the box looks very similar to the one above. Rear seat is reclined and only 1 or 2 clicks forward from all the way back. Bass level is good but I wasn't going for a "SPL" enclosure or else I wouldn't have chosen the shallow mount 10s with a smaller excursion. I went for sound quality, least amount of space and budget friendly (subs are $70 each).

i just installed 2 12 p3s in my truck too. My box is more long though and the amps are mounted above that. I planning to redo all of it and mold in the box to the factory panels for a more clean look. Bass is LOUD. Like anyone is gonna tell you it depends one what amp and sub you buy and your box. My amps gain is all the way down and its too much bass to me. All the things I installed are in my sig. good luck.

One shallowmount pioneer 10 in a custom box from my old truck behind the driver's side of the rear seat. Didn't need much, maybe .65 or .7 cubic feet of space. Don't recall the depth of the box right now but I only lost a click, maybe two of travel. And this is with it secured to the plactic thingy on the rear cab wall. Ideally part of that where the box is will be cut out and dynamat will be applied to the whole back of the cab wall and that might get me back that tiny bit of seat travel.
