What year you looking at?

I have an 06 DC w/o JBL, and put a Scion radio in so I could play MP3's and add my Sirius. Love it, factory look with the extras I wanted.

the only thing I don't like is the Scion radio takes a lot of turns of the volume knob to turn it up/down. More than any other radio I've ever had.

Got it on ebay for like 40 bucks

I tried that once with minimal success. You have to be real careful which Scion radio you get; not all of them fit perfectly. The one I got off of ebay was a brand new unit (a take-out) and sound-wise it was great, but it was a tad too big to fit without modification of the radio/HVAC panel. I finally said the Hell with it and bought my Kenwood.

I have a Scion "t1804" unit in my 2000 Tundra , from what I can tell the Scion unit is from a 04-06 but not positive, as Salty Dog mentioned some trimming of the Tundra panel was involved but it was confined to the back side of the panel (not visible at all). The install was seriously about 10 minutes including the trim process. I do not have the SAT hookup it does require more parts than just the head unit, although MANY input options are available with this deck (ipod, sat., changer, etc.) Sound is very good quality.

i installed a scion radio (single CD, Sat ready, IPod ready---("T-1809") -- into my 2003 - fit perfectly - improved sound. Now onto installing the 2009 Tacoma permanent antenna.
