I ordered a set of the clazzio seat covers today and when I have the seats out for the install, I'll be cleaning up my stereo wiring a little also. I have already swapped the head unit, speakers and added an amp and sub but, I think I'm goin to swap tuners again and add a dvd player (prob. Pioneer 4100) a little later on. My question is, while I have the carpet up what cable do I need to run for an after market backup camera? Single RCA? I figured this would be a good time to at least get the cable in place and run up into the dash. Also how far back. It looks like most cameras don't have much more than a pig tail coming from them. Should it go all the way to the rear bumper? Thanks for your time.

You'll need a single RCA and power (if you want to power the camera when you're not in reverse). As you stated, most camera's video cables are short pig-tails therefore you should run your RCA all the way to your mounting location.
get under the truck, Look under the driver side or passenger side front seats. you'll see a black 2" plug in the floor pan. pull it out make a small incision in the middle of the plug run your cable through it. seal with silicone if desired.
My Boyo camera came with enough cable to run from the camera up to the head unit (at least I hope it's enough at 24').
Not to thread hijack, but is the plug in the floorplan directly under the seat? Also did you guys have to remove the seat to access the cable and run it up behind the dash? What route did you use (i.e. stay under the carpet or did it go over to the door sill)?

I got the cable in last night, on my crew max, there is a rubber plug under the left rear passenger seat about 8" inwards from the door sill near the middle of where the seat sets. You can't see it from under the truck but, if you remove the seat (its heavy) and the floor trim you can lift the carpet and find it easy enough. I just pulled up the carpet enough to get my hand underneath and pulled it out, cut a slit in it and run my cable though and popped it back in.
Thanks, siennabram for mentioning the power wire I would have forgotten to run that with my RCA cable and had to do over again.
