    this is a new double din deck from japan that i want they dont sell it in USA what do you guys think

    I like that deck a lot. I say you get it. You will have something quite different, which is cool. If the radio was made for Japan though you may have to get an adapter for the FM radio. Their radio is a higher frequency that ours so you may need to get an adapter to bring it down to the american band. I cant offer you more info than that.

    If you got to www.my350z.com you can read about a person there who imported a JDM double din head unit made by Sony. It is a pretty sweet head unit. He has a link for the FM radio adapter deal there in his post. I'm pretty sure he posted in the Audio Video section.

    some hi-end units don't need an fm adapter. you can switch the territory bands thru menus. well, at least on my clarion unit.

    Right now the only place to order it is from overseas. If I did my yen conversion correctly it's about $650 retail. Other models are also available and some models may never ship to the states. Check out http://www.alpine.co.jp/ for details.
