Yup me too. Just plugged in a harness ($6) and whamo, it works great. And best of all, no chopping OEM wires.

I took out my stereo and amp as soon as I got my truck and the new kenwood head unit actually plugged right into the harness that was originally in the back of the trucks amp. Took no time at all.

ibleedblue - you can get a Scosche TA02 Car Stereo Connector, wire the speaker runs from your new amp to it and plug it into the stock connectors.

You can use the same connector to pick up the power etc from the factory harness for your new HU. You will then just need to run a remote turn-on wire from the HU to the amp, Power or the amp and Ground for the amp.

I've got the factory 3in1 combo with the factory amp. If I remove the factory radio and amp and replace them with an aftermarket head unit with a built in amp, do I then have to run new wires from the headunit to all the speakers, or is there a way to patch the in & out wiring harnesses from the factory amp together? I assume I could cut the end of the harnesses off and tap the wires together, but I would like to aviod do that, plus I don't know if the wire colors are the same on each harness.
Thanks!!
