Default CDT CL61 Speakers or Polk DX6510

Anyone listened to these or own them, how do they sound, are they as good as they say they are and if so why. The speakers are 2 7/8 deep and take a
5 11/16 mounting hole, will they work with the track mod???? I was acctually thinking of using polk DX6510 with the 3000 series 1 in silk tweets, until I saw this deal on the CDT's $149 for the CL61
Best Regards Steve

Even with the track mod they probably won't fit unless you make spacers. My unfinished A/V system consists of the CDT HD-series components. The 6.5" woofer is 1/16" shallower than the CL series and I had to make a wooden spacer to make it fit. I haven't finished the spacers so I'm running CDT Slimline coaxials for now (they'll be going into the rear doors once I finish the system). My Tundra is a 2000 model by the way, don't know if mounting depths changed for the '03 models.

You must be looking at the batch of CL-61s Zeb Audio is selling due to the cosmetic blemish (red color isn't as bright as the usual CDT finish). I've purchased from Zeb several times, never had problems.
