Default 2003 Tundra Single Cab Speaker Question

OK...most folks on here seem to be enjoying the Access and Double Cabs...but my wife wanted a new car the same time I wanted a truck... so I compromised and got the 03 Tundra Single Cab...The stereo is the stock fm/am/cd player...with two speakers in each door...

I would like to add a subwoofer but would like to avoid "going crazy" with amps, crossovers,etc...

Can I get a Bazooka-style sub and connect it up? Is there a rear speaker wire that I can tap into in my truck?

By the way...although my truck is pretty plain compared to the many on this forum... it's a thrill to see all the excellent posts/threads in here.
Very informative.

Many Thanks,

Congrats on the new truck!
There are several options out there for your situation.
Infinity Basslink **BASSLINK**
Kenwood Woox **REVIEW**
Bazooka

All of these should be able to just tap into existing speaker wires for a signal, then you will run power/ground and remote turn on. Should be a simple setup.

Default wiring harness?

Is there a wiring harness anywhere around the area behind the seat? or do I need to tap into the wiring harness up front?

Thanks again!

I'm not sure of the single cab stereos, but you will probably be able to tie in just after the factory amp which is below the OEM radio. You can see it in Agent WD-40's pic **HERE** Look behind the black cable bundle, see the silver box with cooling fins? That's the amp. The wiring diagram is in the TS garage and is open to Club members.
