Default Non-JBL Stereo Wiring Harness Question

OK, I’ve done a search and can’t find any information on my question, and I’m hoping someone here knows the answer.

I have the stock Toyota 6-speaker non-JBL CD/cassette player. What I’m wondering is the 10 speaker wiring harness in the 4Runners pre-installed on all models?
I would like to add a subwoofer in the rear, and possibly more rear speakers where the back blind spot mirrors are. Am I going to have to run new wires or can I just plug into the existing wiring harness? I'm hoping the wires and connectors are all there so I can splice into them. Anybody investigate this yet?

Thanks in advance for any and all information.

So I take it, since there is no response, that no one knows the answer to my above questions.

I'm hoping someone here has the answers so I don't have to tear apart my new truck, and possibly break something expensive, to search for wires they may or not be there.

Thanks in advance,
Jim

I can tell you that the wiring diagrams for the 2 systems are different, but I do not know if the wiring is actually in the vehicle.
