will 5in speakers fit in the tundra?

I have an old kenwood component speaker system, 5". Will this fit in the tundra? I had it in my subaru some years ago and never really thought they sounded that good. Not sure if it was because I didnt have an amp. THe tundra I just bought has an old sony xm-250 amp already installed. Does anyone know about this amp? Im looking to upgrade speakers and a head unit. THe cd player skips cds and I would like something that plays mp3s too.

Also, what the best way to remove the door panels without breaking anything?

Oh boy oh boy, the audio upgrade process is cranking up. I HIGHLY recommend you become a TS Club Member to gain access to "How To" articles with pictures of door removal, wire diagrams, etc. etc.


I couldn't find any info. on Google concerning the amp, but hey if it works, use it. You COULD install the 5" comps, although you will need to fabricate a mounting plate since the OEM speakers are 6.75".
