Default Amplifier behind 2005 Tundra Double Cab Rear Seat

Has anyone found a amplifier that fits behind the seat of the 2005 Double Cab. I've removed the large pocket and took a few measurements. It looks like I have two seperate areas to mount amplifiers. One measures 14.5" x 8.5" x 1.5" and the otehr 11" x 8.5" x 1.5". With the openings parts of the amp could be larger. I would like to be able to put the cover back on.

Litlbul,

Do you have any pics of how the amp is mounted?

It looks like you had to cut the panel, is that correct?

Just curious, I was able to fit passive crossovers there.

Cheers,
Chris

That is correct, I cut the storage pocket and mounted the amp right where the stock amp was.

Thanks for the response.

How did you mount it the amp though? Did you build a bracket to use the factory mounting points and mount the amp vertically? or is the amp attached to the back wall?

Any pics to share with the community?

The amp is attached to the back wall. I just used short self tapping metal screws.

I fit a 1000w ppi amp there by removing the big plastic cover. It is all hidden anyway.
