I'd probably get the screws myself, $29 seems alot also, Maybe slow sales will bring down the price to about $40 a full set of four.

Possibly the quickest email response ive ever had on ebay.

He says that they 6.5/6.75" front adapters are in the near horizon. If you were desprate for them, he would make them ASAP.

$29 doesnt seem that bad, someone else was wanting $40-50 I recall for the MDF ones. As long as it bolts up tight and doesnt rattle I'd rather have something in there that wont retain moisture or rot over time. I wish they'd hurry up with a head unit mount kit.

Yeah, I had about a 10 email back and forth conversation about this with him because I hate 6x9's, and didn't think a 6x9 slot could fit a 6.5 inch speaker. Anyway, the end result was this response.

Quote:
Jeremy:
We currently have front mount speakers for 6x9 inch speakers.

We are developing mounts with 5 1/8 inch holes to mount 6.5 inch speakers in the front door panel. So we will have two different sets of front mounts for the Tacoma.
The rears will only come in 5 1/8 inch holes.
After researching this a little more, I think the 5 1/8inch whole will work well for most speakers on the market. The only problem is that the speakers I want have a significantly larger mounting diameter than the average.

Regardless of my situation, this guy seems like a great person to do business with on ebay. He's very responsive to all questions.

These are the ones Marv sells.

45 bucks, plus 7 bucks shipping. (pair) You can also have him cut them to fit an 8" or 6x9 if you'd like. He can also cut them to fit whatever diameter you need per your speakers.
