Default Low volume in Tundra rear speakers...

I have a 2000 Access cab Tundra. I installed a Nav unit from oemvalue.com and just realized that the volume in my rear speakers is awfully low. Furthermore when I adjust the sound to the rear of the truck the volume of the speakers does not change.

I never messed with the sound when the stock head unit was installed so I don't know if I can attribute the problem to the new JBL amp and Nav unit.

Has anybody else experienced this problem with or without Nav unit? If so how can I get more volume out of my access door speakers?

My nav unit was made for a 2005 Camry. Does the Camry have more than 6 speakers? If so maybe the harness at the head unit is sending the wrong chanel to my rear speakers...?

Do you have the factory speakers? If so the rear speakers are designed to be quieter than the fronts. I personally think it sounds better that way. I have my aftermarket system set up the same way.

The fronts are 4 ohm speaker, the rears are 6 ohm. The fronts will thus sound louder than the rear because the fronts will get more power. The fronts will probably sound close to 2x as loud as the rear.

Didn't work. I replaced the 6 ohm 60 watt speakers with 4 ohm 160 watt speakers. No difference whatsoever. Once again, when I try to fade the music to the access cab speakers there is no change in volume.

This can't be normal...

I'm not sure what the problem is. Probably the wrong wire going to the rear. If you got a wiring diagram (or perhaps ask nhparrot) you can find out of there are wires designed to go to more speakers.
