Thumbs up 15% off on car stereo at Crutchfield.com!!!!

hey all,
This is my first post!
I just bought an Eclipse AVN-5435 through crutchfield.
You have to buy stuff from 3 different categories for the discount.
they have a deal going on right now that gets you 15% off of your purchase. I bought the eclipse nav unit, a portable dvd player, and an xm receiver for cheaper than the original price of the eclipse unit. I called Crutchfield to see how long this deal is going on for, and they had no timetable for the discount. You could also buy the eclipse unit, 2 8" subs, and amp, for cheaper than the orignal price for the eclipse.
I am stoked on my purchase, just though i would pass along the savings!
Peace

PS.
I dont work for them, i got a free portable dvd player and free xm for the pice of my nav unit!

thanks for all of your posts. I can now install my unit with confidence!

Why does Crutchfield website indicate the AVN-5435 does not fit a 2005 Tundra DC? Does it fit? Do the steering wheel controls work with the stereo?

Default Crutchfield/5435

It definately fits. Just got the 5495 and it fits perfect. The steering wheels are a direct plug in in the 35 and and requires a seperate interface for the 95. Eclipse will have to change this, they F***** up with the newer version 5495's. With the new internet pricing on the eclipse units I opted to still go through a dealer, eclipse is going through crutchfield to be a little more competitive but I think you are better off thru a specialty dealer. Better warranty, peace of mind and they aren't going to turn down a customer so they will match or beat the price. Good luck.

Hey Maxx. Is the adapter for the steering wheel controls pretty standard? Would you mine sharing how much you paid? Have any pics?

Thanks for the info.

Did you have to call them for this 15% discount?
