Default Tundra w/non-JBL to JBL Navi Conversion Project

I am attempting to convert a 2006 Tundra non-JBL factory stereo system to a Toyota JBL 2007 naviagation system. The first additional piece I need is a JBL digital amp. I have located a JBL Harman/Becker 86280-0C050 amp supposedly from a 2006 Solara. Does anyone know if this is a digital amp or where I can find a list of part #'s for Toyota JBL amps?

Wouldnt it be better just to rip out the factory head unit and replace it with a Kenwood or Alpine Double-Din with GPS moudule? You can get a harness and with the non-JBL system, you can still use your factory speakers. I have a 2004 Double Cab with the JBL system and I replaced the factory head unit with a Kenwood 6019 (which is awesome) and I installed a 4-channel amp in place of the factory amp (all the wires lead to this location, and was a simple hook-up). Have I not had the JBL system, I could have used my factory amp to power the speakers, but with the JBL system you need a data signal to trigger the amp which you cannot get from a factory harness. This is just my 2 cents worth.

I forgot to mention, if you still are needing an amp, I have a factory JBL amp from my 2004 Tundra with would be a direct drop in.

I have acquired the necessary Toyota JBL amp (86280-AA080). Now on to the main show, the wiring challenge. Has anyone dealt with Best Kits Online? They have some Toyota wiring harnesses.
