TundraSoul,
Any word from AI if they plan to make the kit in gloss black?
Thanks,

I forgot about it, I'll send an email and ask now.

Can anyone tell me if the stereo wiring harness is the same from 06 to 07? I have an Alpine single din head unit that I had installed in my '06 Tundra. I'm ordering a dash kit and hoping I can just plug and play with the existing adapter I wired up.
Extras: ipod adapter ~$50
Dynamat ~$100
Other supplies ~$50
It really depends on what you want. I wanted an exceptional sound quality (SQ) with good ipod controls. If you want bells and whistles like nav, etc. the AVIC is awesome. If you want decent SQ with in-dash DVD and exceptional ipod control, check out the Clarion MAX675 (~$600).
Yes, crutchfield sells an adapter that utilizes your steering wheel controles.
According to the representative I spoke with at Crutchfield, they don't have any adapter that retains the steering wheel audio and bluetooth controls. Until that is an option...stock HU it is.
I just got a really nice I Pod connection and hook up on my 07 tundra DC. It displays songs and everything just like in a scion for 200 bucks at car toys.
